Softwashing is a cleaning method that uses low-pressure water and biodegradable cleaning solutions to safely remove dirt, mold, mildew, algae, and other contaminants from surfaces. 

Unlike pressure washing, which uses high-pressure water to clean (destroy) surfaces, softwashing relies on chemical cleaners and a gentle rinse to avoid damaging delicate materials like shingles, siding, and painted surfaces. Pressure washing is used most commonly for concrete and brick pressure washing.
